Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club debit and credit cards. We also accept payments via Apple Pay where applicable and Shopify Pay. You can read more about Shopify Pay here.
When will my card be charged?
Your card will be charged at the time of purchase. This applies to purchases of items that are in stock to ship immediately and pre-order item purchases.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax of 8.875% will be added to all orders shipped within New York State. Orders shipped anywhere outside of New York State will not incur US sales tax.
Can I cancel or modify my order once it has been placed?
We begin processing orders as quickly as possible once received so we cannot guarantee that you will be able to modify an order after you have placed it. However, if you have not yet received your tracking information yet and you would like to change or modify your order, email us at email@example.com and we will try our best!
When will I receive my order?
All domestic orders are processed within 1-3 business days. All international orders are processed within 1-7 business days. You will receive an email confirming that your order has been received and order processing has begun. Once we’ve processed your order, you will receive an email with confirmation that your order has shipped along with tracking information based on your chosen shipping method.
When will my pre-order item(s) be shipped?
All pre-order shipping dates vary by product. You can find the exact ship date for your item(s) on your order summary or on the individual product page.
Is a signature required for delivery?
Yes, someone must be present at the delivery address to sign for the package. Please ensure that you select a delivery location where somebody will be available to sign for the delivery.
Which countries do you ship to?
We currently only ship within the United States, and to Canada, Mexico, the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Australia. Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, we offer FREE ground shipping on all domestic orders within the contiguous United States. You can read more about our shipping policy here.
How is the shipping rate calculated?
Shipping rates for UPS 2-Day and UPS Overnight shipping is determined by your stated shipping zip code. You can read more about our shipping policy here.
Will I need to pay import duties or taxes?
All prices and taxes assessed during checkout are exclusive of import duties and taxes. If you are shipping outside of the US, you will be responsible for paying these charges before we can ship your order. Please refer to the International Duties and Taxes section of our Shipping Policy for more information on the Sally LaPointe International shipping policy and the duties and taxes associated.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Items are eligible for return up to 14 days after receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, with tags intact, in original packaging, and in the same condition that you received it. To initiate a return, please email email@example.com and reference your order number and the words “return request” in the subject line. We will reply within 1-2 business days with a shipping label for you to use for the return as well as further instructions. You can find our full return policy here.
At this time, we do not accept exchanges. If you would like a different size, color, or style we recommend ordering the desired size, color, or style while it is still in stock and processing your return separately.
All orders shipped outside of the United States are final sale once tracking information has been provided. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more information on the Sally LaPointe International shipping policy and the duties and taxes associated.
Do I need to set up an account to place an order?
No. You can check out as a guest if you’d like. Creating an account does enable you to save your most-used addresses for simpler shopping in the future, in addition to allowing you easy access to all past and current order information.
How often do you restock sold out items?
We will not always be able to restock every item that sells out. Because of the unique nature of many Sally LaPointe products, stocks are limited. However, if you have requested to be notified in the case that an item does get restocked, an email will be sent to you as soon as the item is available again.
Where do I enter my promo code?
If you have a promo code, please enter it on the first page in the checkout process. If the code is valid, the applicable promotion will be applied and reflected immediately.
Where can I find size and fit advice?
We recommend ordering true to size. You can find other size and fit notes on the individual product pages under the “Product Details” section.

How do I best take care of cashmere?
We recommend that you take your cashmere to a trusted dry-cleaner for the removal of dirt and stains. Cashmere should never be hand-washed or put in the washing machine. Store your cashmere in a dry, cool closet with no exposure to sunlight.
How do I best take care of fur?
We recommend that you take your fur to a trusted fur-care specialist. If your fur gets wet, please allow it to dry naturally. Never apply heat to speed the drying process. Store your fur in a dry, cool closet with no exposure to sunlight.
Why does the fur on my sweater look different than the product photo on your site?
As a real fur, the skins used can differ from one another, varying in color and hair lengths. Each skin used in the making of our garments are unique to itself and we cannot guarantee that any one fur piece will be identical to another.
